Everyday Purple Drugstore Tutorial

Tutorial: Everyday Purple Eyes

Hey guys! So this was the makeup look I was sporting daily in college for quite a few weeks.  It is easy and can be done with all drugstore products.  I was so excited because one of the women at Sephora complemented this eyelook.  Also, these pictures were taken at the end of the day, so the products did hold up well.  This look will look great with all eye colors, especially brown, but won't look over the top.

Although I did not use all drugstore products, the most important feature is the palette, which is drugstore.  All things that I used can be used by the same thing of another brand.
Products used:
Products used (Left to Right): MAC Carbon, MAC Blacktrack Fluidline, Rimmel 003 'Smokey Purple' Quad, Sonia Kashuk Blending Brush, Sephora 22 and 20 Brushes (all over shadow and angled shadow, respectively), MAC Fascinating Eye Kohl, Covergirl LashBlast Clump Crusher Mascara
Steps:

1  Prime the eyelids with any primer (optional- I did, however, use the MAC 'Painterly' paint pot)
(Steps 2-4 use the Rimmel 003 'Smokey Purple' Quad)
Use the left most shade (the pinkish/purple) all over the lid with an all over shadow brush or the given sponge applicator's wider side.
Using a crease brush, or the narrow end of the sponge applicator, apply the top (deep purple) shade through the crease and outer corner.
Taking the angled shadow brush, or the other side of the wide end of the sponge applicator, use the bottom (white) shade under the brow bone and the inner corner.
Now using an angled liner brush or the tip of the narrow sponge applicator and a gel liner (Maybelline has a really great affordable one that comes with a brush) and line the upper lash line.  Do it thin in the inner 1/3 and thicker on the outer 2/3.
Then take a black shadow (drug store has plenty) and the same applicator and create a small wing (this is a lot more subtle then liquid liner).
Using the sponge tip applicator, run some of that black shadow on the lower lash line.  Then run over it with the deep purple shade.
Line the waterline with a white eyeliner (Rimmel has a great affordable one).
Coat the upper and lower lashes with your favorite mascara (I do recommend the Covergirl LashBlast line as a great drugstore brand).

This takes me 10 minutes or less to do and once you get a routine about it, it'll be even faster. This is a nice subtle look that definitely adds a pop of color.  Lemme know what you think!!

♡B.
